volunteering at Woodmansterne
At Woodmansterne, we value support from parents, carers and members of our local community. We are fortunate to have a committed, proactive team of volunteers and our children benefit from this in many ways.
If you want to know more about how you can help in school as a volunteer, please contact the school office for an application form or download it here.
All our regular volunteers in school must have a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Once the clear DBS check has been received by the school, prospective volunteers are invited for a meeting. Once a placement is agreed, there will be an induction which involves a tour around our school and a meeting with the designated safeguarding lead.
Work Experience and placements
Due to the current situation, we are not considering voluntary placements for this term or for the Autumn term. We value our volunteers and hope to be in a position to start our voluntary placements programme again later in the Autumn term, so please do check back then.
